Developer Ian Wood has released a new version of his automation program Aperture Assistant.

Assistant allow photographers and editor visually set up complex, decision-based work flows to allow sorting, creating and exporting based on metadata and other criteria.

Human Trends has released a set of 12 new modules, collectively known as Edit, to take advantage of the new edit function in Aperture.

With the 12 modules over 4000 new effects can be used by photographers.  A few of the new functions include adding frames, color correcting using curves and new methods of reducing noise in images.

The plugin is available as a demo and sells for $299.95, or portions can be bought for varying prices at their website.
